High Country Fly Fishers Monthly Meeting
High Country Fly Fishers, the Park City chapter of the nonprofit environmental organization Trout Unlimited, will hold its monthly membership meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Rd. Past High Country Fly Fishers Presidents Jack Campbell and Bill Quapp will give an update of the Weber River Crossover Project that provides access to private property along the Weber River. Wine for Wildlife
Park City Twilight Rotary Club and Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter will host their Wine for Wildlife fundraiser, at 5 p.m., on Thursday, April 4, at the Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive. The evening will feature an array of activities including wine education by Pamela Wood, president of the Park City Wine Club, live music by The Fuse, heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks prepared by Elevate Bartending and a sit-down dinner catered by Joi Thomas, owner of Seasoned with Salt. Of the funds raised, 50% will go to Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter programming, and 50% will go to the Park City Twilight Rotary Club’s service projects. Ballet West’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’
Ballet West will bring the enchanting “Beauty and the Beast” to town at 7 p.m., on Friday, April 5, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd. The performance, part of the dance company’s Family Classic Series, will feature dancers from Ballet West II, the Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy and the Peggy Bergmann Park City Campus. Kimball Art Center Art Soirée
The Kimball Art Center’s Art Soirée is set to start at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 6, at Pendry Park City, 2417 W High Mountain Rd. in Canyons Village. The event raises money that funds the art-nonprofit’s education, exhibit, student outreach and artist-in-residence programs.
