Spend an Evening with Kevin Pearce
Park City Film will present an evening with Kevin Pearce, a former pro-snowboarder who suffered a traumatic brain injury while training for the 2009 Winter Olympics at Park City Mountain Resort. The event will start at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium. Saturday Morning Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve
Saturday morning nature walks are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. Park City Follies Opens April 18
Park City Follies, the musical spoof that pokes fun at all things Park City, opens a three-weekend run on April 18 at the Egyptian Theatre. Summit Community Garden Seek Farm Farmacy Volunteers
Summit Community Gardens & EATS, a nonprofit that encourages the community to gather, learn about healthy nutrition and food accessibility and grow in gardens and schools, seeks volunteers for its Farm Farmacy program. Volunteers are needed bi-weekly and on Thursdays to help deliver produce to between four and eight homes around Summit and Wasatch counties. Volunteers must have a car and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Deliveries are no-contact and may be left at the front door.
