The Top U.S. biathlon athletes will compete in sprint and mass start races, vying for spots on the World Cup and IBU Cup circuits, and the U.S. Biathlon Association will host a kick-off party Friday to celebrate the relocation of its headquarters to Midway.

At the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center, 2002 Soldier Hollow Lane, on Friday, 9:15-10:00 a.m., Biathlon Elite W 7.5km Sprint; 10-10:45 a.m., Biathlon Elite M 10km Sprint; 5-7 p.m.: Utah headquarters kick-off Reception to include a tour of the new Soldier Hollow facilities, which are under construction, a champagne toast and updates from U.S. Biathlon and UOLF leadership, and will conclude with mingling and a try-it biathlon event.
On Saturday: 9-9:45 a.m., Biathlon W 10km Mass Start; 9:45-10:45 am, Biathlon M 12.5km Mass Start.

Athletes include Olympians Deedra Irwin, Sean Doherty, Jake Brown, Paul Schommer and Campbell Wright, who is transitioning to Team USA. U.S. Biathlon staff, including President and CEO Jack Gierhart, will also be in attendance.

The Fall Trials determine the pool of athletes who will travel to Europe in November to partake in the final training camp before the 2023/2024 season begins. Official World Cup and IBU Cup teams will be announced prior to the start of the season in November. Two male and two female athletes will pre-qualify for the World Cup team; names are yet to be announced.
