After three weeks of laborious snow clearing over Bald Mountain pass, which in some places had up to six feet of snow covering the roadway, Utah Department of Transportation crews opened one of northern Utah’s most scenic highways for the summer season. Travelers can now drive on S.R. 150, known as Mirror Lake Highway, from Kamas to Evanston, Wyoming. Travelers should expect to see plenty of snow from the Upper Falls of the Provo River to Christmas Meadows on the north end.
