Miners girls soccer opens their season with a win

The Miners girls soccer squad opened up their season with a blowout win Monday night. Park City defeated Salt Lake Academy 8-0 at Quinn’s Junction. The Miners will face Wasatch Thursday in a rivalry showdown. The team’s season will run through October. Park City are the defending 4A state finalists. 

Flying Aces return to the UOP this weekend

The Flying Aces aerials shows return to the Utah Olympic Park Friday and Saturday nights. Patrons will see Olympic and national team aerialists soar up to 60 feet in the air before landing in the UOP pool. The shows will run from 6:30 to 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $20 a person, with a four-pack available for $70. The Flying Aces will soar at the UOP through Labor Day weekend. 

Deer Valley hosting another Brews and Tunes event Saturday

Deer Valley Resort will be hosting another Brews and Tunes event Saturday from noon to 2:30 p.m. At Snowshoe Tommy’s atop Bald Mountain, guests can enjoy beers, live entertainment and takeaway food. A lift ticket is required to access the event. Deer Valley will be holding these events every Saturday until Sept. 7. 

Woodward’s Play Forever Fridays return for third time Friday

Woodward Park City’s Play Forever Fridays will return for a third time Friday. Tickets will be discounted to $45 for all-access and $20 for lift access, with $10 of every all-access ticket going to local charities. The last Play Forever Friday of the season will come Sept. 13.
