Romy Boutique is aiming to establish itself as a go-to destination from down under for fashion-forward individuals seeking distinctive styles.

Its ethos revolves around celebrating each customer’s unique style while introducing designers from the United Kingdom to Park City.

Owner Jacqui Lennon moved to Utah from Australia in 2018, and selects garments from top-tier designers.

“I have always loved fashion and wanted to open a boutique,” Lennon said. “Now was a good time. Our kids are older, and I just love fashion and putting things together. For me to be different in this town, I had to do what I know best, and that is Australian designers.”

Among the designer labels:

  • St. Agni: Known for its minimalist yet chic designs, this Australian label epitomizes understated luxury with a focus on sustainable practices.
  • Alemais: A rising star from Australia, Alemais captivates with whimsical, vibrant prints and a commitment to ethical production.
  • Clea: This New Zealand-based brand delivers contemporary fashion with an innovative edge, perfect for those who appreciate a unique twist on classic styles.
  • Elizabeth Moore: Representing European elegance, Moore’s designs showcase meticulous craftsmanship and a luxurious aesthetic.

Another area that sets Romy Boutique apart is its dedication to providing an exceptional shopping experience. The staffers at Romy pride themselves on offering personalized service and helping visitors find pieces that resonate with their tastes and lifestyles.

“I select pieces based on what I really like and what I think works well for this environment,” Lennon said. “We have a lot of second-home owners, so I consider their needs. They may be heading back to warmer climates. We carry many trans-seasonal pieces that you can wear all year round. Since many of our labels are Australian, and the seasons are completely opposite, the designers are now catering to everyone.”

As Romy Boutique continues to evolve and expand its offerings, with plans to expand possibly to Salt Lake City, its mission is to bring in unique styles and designers and inspire confidence in all who walk through its doors.

Lennon and stylist Mila Greene offer personal styling in the boutique or in people’s homes.

“We are more than happy to have people bring pieces in and try to find a special piece in the store that may work with something they had at home,” Lennon said. “I want people to come in and have a great experience. I love seeing people happy with their purchases. “

Due to a lease hiccup, it opened in December 2023 at the Pendry and then relocated to its prime location on Main Street in February. It’s been all go ever since.
