The Park City Kimball Arts Festival will commemorate 55 years of artistic excellence this season by welcoming more than 200 artists from 28 states and three countries. The three-day outdoor celebration runs from Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4.
As Utah’s longest running visual arts festival, artists showcase works of all styles, mediums, and genres including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, textiles, jewelry, and more.
One of the festival’s goals is to connect the public with art, and it does so through live music, culinary arts, art demonstrations, and other experiences as attendees browse the kiosks and get to know the jury-selected artists.
Eventgoers strolling along Main Street will be treated to live music on two stages by local and regional singer-songwriters and bands curated by Mountain Town Music, a locally based live music nonprofit organization. Culinary arts can be enjoyed via an array of food trucks, tasting tents, and outdoor dining decks.

The History of Kimball Arts Festival
The festival’s roots date back to 1969 when a group of local artists, supported by philanthropist Bill Kimball, who would later establish the Kimball Art Center in 1976, decided to celebrate visual art with an open-air summertime cultural event on Main Street.
Over the years, the Kimball Arts Festival has become a cornerstone event for the Park City community, attracting thousands of visitors who come to appreciate the works of local, national, and international artists.

As one of the West’s most esteemed art fairs, the Kimball Arts Festival continues to evolve and grow while remaining committed to its founding principles of celebrating creativity, fostering community connections, and showcasing the transformative power of art.
Made possible through a partnership with the Kimball Art Center and Park City Municipal Corp., Kimball Arts Festival proceeds support the Kimball Art Center, one of Park City’s premiere visual-art nonprofits. Kimball Art Center is committed to making art accessible to all and providing art education in Utah schools. Funds raised help the art center offer international-quality community art classes, free exhibits, and community outreach programming to summer-season visitors as well as citizens of Park City and Summit and Wasatch Counties.
The Kimball Arts Festival will open from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on closing day. For more information and tickets, visit parkcitykimballartsfestival.org.
