‘Park City’s Silver Queen’ Lecture

Park City Museum and Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History will host a free lecture, “Susanna Bransford, Park City’s Silver Queen,” by Sandy Brumley and Melissa Clark, historians and museum volunteers, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center, 2079 Sidewinder Drive. moe. jams at the Egyptian Theatre

New York-based jam band moe. will continue it’s Ski Tour run through Sunday, March 10, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. The band, which had to cancel its last Park City dates four years ago due to the coronavirus pandemic, features guitarist Al Schnier, guitarist Chuck Garvey, drummer Vinnie Amico, bassist Rob Derhak, percussionist Jim Loughlin and keyboardist Nate Wilson. Park City Film: ‘This Is Where I Learned Not to Sleep’

Park City Film and Peace House will present a free screening of Anne de Mare and Kirsten Kelly’s documentary “This Is Where I Learned Not to Sleep,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The film is about Mark Wynn, a retired decorated Nashville police officer, who grew up in an abusive household and now trains police forces around the globe on how to work with domestic violence victims. Follwing the film is a panel discussion, moderated by KPCW Reporter Andrea Buchanan, which will feature Katherine Aguilera, Peace House associate director; McKenzie Gardner, forensic interviewer at Children Justice Center at Summit and Wasatch Counties; and Park City Police Sergeant Danielle Snelson. Red, White and Snow 20th Anniversary

The National Ability Center will host its 20th Red, White and Snow, wine-and-dine fundraiser from March 7-9, at various locations in Park City and Salt Lake City. BodyTraffic at the Eccles Center
