Park City Film visits the ‘Zone of Interest’
Park City Film will present a weekend screening of Jonathan Glazer’s Academy Award-winning “Zone of Interest” through March 17, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screening will start at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will begin at 6 p.m. The film centers on the domestic life of Hedwig and Rudolf Höss, whose home is a few steps away from Auschwitz. A post-film discussion on Saturday will feature author Amos N. Guiora, a professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, the University of Utah. Neko Case at the Egyptian Theatre
Singer and songwriter Neko Case continues her concert run, March 16-17, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. Saturday’s performance will begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s concert will start at 5 p.m. After more than 20 years in the music business, Case, a member of the indie rock group The New Pornographers, released “Wild Creatures,” her solo-career retrospective compilation that features essays and track commentary. Perler Bead Creations for Teens
The Summit County Library will host free teen perler bead creation sessions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at the Kimball Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd, and at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, at the Coalville Branch, 82 N. 50 East. The program, chosen by the Summit County Library’s Teen Library Squad at Kimball Junction, is for ages 11-17 and will include snacks. Registration is required. Green Reads at The Park City Library
Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., will host Green Reeds with Free Living Co. at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. The free session will discuss topics from Daren Olien’s “Fatal Conveniences: The Toxic Products and Harmful Habits That Are Making You Sick, and the Simple Changes That Will Save Your Health” and feature a presentation by Dana Grinnell, of Park City’s Free Living Co., a resource for a toxin-free life.
