‘The Art Ecosystem’ Art Talk with Industry Leaders

The Kimball Art Center will host “The Art Ecosystem,” an art talk panel discussion with local industry leaders at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is suggested. The discussion will examine the contemporary art environment the Kimball Art Center is cultivating in Park City. Panelists include Kimball Art Center Executive Director Aldy Milliken, Arts Council of Park City and Summit County Executive Director Jocelyn Scudder, Park City Gallery Association Co-Chair Jen Schumacher and Park City Artists Association Chair Mitch Bedke. Westminster VITA Tax Clinic

The Westminster VITA Tax Clinic is held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays at The Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd. IRS-certified volunteers in Westminster’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will offer free tax preparation, electronic filing and financial advocacy and stability services to low- to moderate-income individuals and families, people with disabilities, the elderly, members of military services and veterans, members of Native American tribes and those with limited English proficiency. ‘The Disruptors’ Film Screening

Park City Film and PC READS, a student advocacy nonprofit, will partner for a free screening of Stephanie Soechtig’s “The Disruptors,” not rated, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The documentary, part of Park City Film’s Raising Voices series, takes viewers inside families as they navigate the challenges and the triumphs of living with ADHD. A post-screening panel discussion, moderated by parent and advocate Bari Nan Rothchild, will include Mary Kimball of the McGillis School’s Learning Center; Hilary Fiveash from Educational Advantage; Dr. Eileen Gallagher of Gallagher Pediatrics; Dr. Alison Delgado from Wasatch Pediatrics and Seth Rothchild, student and PC READS Mind Mentor.
