Utah Olympic Park hosting Celebrate 2034 event Wednesday afternoon

The Utah Olympic Park will be hosting a Celebrate 2034 event Wednesday afternoon. The event will kick off with a 4 to 6 p.m. festival with activities, vendors and giveaways for patrons. A special Wednesday Flying Aces show will run from 6:30 to 7 p.m. after the festival. The evening will conclude with a Freedog concert from 7 to 9 p.m. The events are all free to attend, but the UOP will not have parking available after 4 p.m. Salt Lake City is expected to be granted the 2034 Winter Games early in the morning Wednesday, where certain events would take place in Park City.

Deer Valley to host another Brews and Tunes event Saturday

Deer Valley Resort will be hosting another Brews and Tunes event Saturday from noon to 2:30 p.m. At Snowshoe Tommy’s atop Bald Mountain, guests can enjoy beers, live entertainment and takeaway food. A lift ticket is required to access the event. Deer Valley will be holding these events every Saturday until Sept. 7. 

The MARC’s women’s mountain biking clinics continue Thursday

The MARC’s women’s mountain biking clinics will be continuing Thursday night. Thursday, then next Tuesday, will be the last beginner clinics, before intermediate sessions take over Tuesday. Small groups of women will be learning tips and techniques in these clinics. 

Tracy Aviary to host July Alta Bird Hike Thursday

Tracy Aviary will host their July Alta Bird Hike Thursday morning. From 9 to noon, walkers can join Tracy’s conservation team on a guided bird walk. The walks are each fourth Thursday from May to November. Walkers will receive day-before meetup location information and directions.
