Robert (Bob) Richardson was born May 7th 1927 at the Miners Hospital in Park City, Utah. Born to William (Moon) and Reva Noakes Richardson. His father and grandfather were both Miners in Park City. Bob also worked in numerous mines in the Park City mountains and leased claims in Crested Butte and Silverton, Colorado during the mine strikes in Park City. He lived his entire life in the view of the Park City mountains that he dearly loved.

Bob shared sixty eight years of a loving and fulfilling marriage with his devoted wife Ruth Gettle Richardson. They built a beautiful family of four boys: Robert (DeeDee), Brent, Mike (Dorothy), and Scott. His family expanded to include four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He took great pleasure ensuring all the children had a cookie in one hand and peanut M&M’s in the other.

An avid fisherman he could often be found trolling at Strawberry Reservoir. Hunting was another great love shared with friends, family & well trained dogs. He was a devoted Jazz fan.

Dad will be remembered for his enduring love of family, and leaves a legacy through memories shared by those who were fortunate to know him. In his later years, Dad was well cared for with love, compassion and dedication by his son, Scott and grandson Will. Their unwavering support provided comfort and companionship during his final journey.

He is survived by three sons, Granddaughters, Kresta Richardson, Sarah (Rob) Schapper, and Grandsons, Tyler (Christy) Richardson and Will Richardson. Great grandchildren Hailey and Cody Richardson, Ryder and Graysen Richardson, Eloise and Finn Schapper. Preceded in death by his wife Ruth and son Brent.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Heber Valley Funeral home. 288 N. Main St. Heber City, Utah A viewing will take place from eleven a.m. to one p.m., a Memorial Service will follow at one p.m.
