Jelly Roll, a Nashville-based American singer from Tennessee, said during his concert at the Delta Center Wednesday night that he plans to buy a house in Park City.
“I’ve got to take a second to go off script,” Jelly Roll said. “I could not have asked for a better first night of this tour, y’all … I’ve been here for four days at the Maverik Center rehearsing and getting ready for this tour,” Jelly Roll said.
He went on:
“I’ve been all over this place, dude. I’ve been to Park City, I’ve been to Heber, I’ve been to West Valley City. I’ve been to Salt Lake City. I truly could not have asked for a better way to open this tour. I could not have asked for a better crowd tonight, Salt Lake City. Thank you for making the first show a sold-out show. I’ve decided I am going to buy a house in Park City. So if y’all see me and sexy wife out, feel free to stop by and say, ‘Hello.’”
The crowd then erupted into applause.
Jelly Roll’s upcoming album “Beautifully Broken” is scheduled to release on Oct. 11.
