The Park City Kimball Arts Festival celebrated its 55th annual event Friday through Sunday on Main Street. The festival attracted nearly 30,000 people over the weekend and featured 180 artist from around the country that specialized in painting, ceramics, metalworks, printing, fiber and more.

The Best of Show winners for the 2024 event by medium are as follows:

  • Ceramics: Luis Enrique Gutierrez, Wake Forest, North Carolina
  • Sculpture: Yves Goyatton, Monterey, California
  • Digital Art: Ryan McAbery, Portland, Oregon
  • Fiber: Janvier Ngamije, Lewisville, Texax
  • Jewelry: Aasia Hamid, Gilbert, Arizona
  • Glass: Weston Lambert, Tacoma, Washington
  • Painting: Scott Coulter, Chisago City, Minnesota
  • Mixed Media: Sam Jones IV, Flippin, Arkansas
  • Printmaking: Anna Pausch, Denver, Colorado
  • Metalwork: Robert Varela, Eugine, Oregon
  • Wood: Stephen Rosini, Salt Lake City
  • Photography: Paige Whitcomb, Springville, Missouri

Kimball Art Center Executive Director Aldy Milliken and Festival Director Hillary Gilson awarded the top three Best of Fest awards on Saturday. Best Overall Artist was given to printmakers Steven and Bonnie Harmston of Chandler, Arizona. Best Local Artist went to glass artist Daniel Bell of Salt Lake City and Best Emerging Artist was awarded to printmaker Jess Hough of Moab.
