Driver gets two flats from pothole in Snow Creek
What is described as a big pothole in Snow Creek damaged two tires on a vehicle on Friday, April 7, the Police Department said.
According to Lt. Phil Kirk, a driver was eastbound on a road between the post office and the Snow Creek Plaza when the person turned right and drove over the pothole, which the police were told is “quite deep.”
Both of the vehicle’s left tires flattened and the tire rims were bent, Kirk said.
The Public Works Department was summoned to put out barricades, he said. Kirk said maintenance on the road is City Hall’s responsibility.
The police told the victim to file a claim with the City Attorney’s Office, he said.
Kirk reported on Monday that the pothole had been filled.
