The Park City Police Department last weekend responded to a complaint about a bachelorette party in Old Town.
The agency received the report on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 10:23 p.m. somewhere along Woodside Avenue. There was “yelling and screaming,” the police were told.
The person who contacted the agency wanted the people at the party to “calm down and be quiet,” according to department logs.
The police categorized the case as suspected disturbing the peace.

On Sunday, Aug. 4, at 7:44 p.m., a police officer pulled over a driver in the area of the lower Sandridge parking lot off Marsac Avenue after, according to the department, a vehicle was seen “traveling slower than the posted speed limit. The driver also did not use a turn signal, the police said. Public police logs did not provide details about whether the driver received a warning or a citation.
A truck, which was reported to be suffering “hot” brakes, was seen on Marsac Avenue south of the Hillside Avenue intersection at 7:32 p.m. The truck was reported to be blocking traffic, the police said.
An e-bike was reportedly found on Webster Court at 1:50 p.m. Part of the e-bike appeared to be damaged, the police were told. The person who contacted the police indicated the bicycle was not owned by neighbors and it was in the driveway at the time of the report.
The Police Department received a report of an assault on Lowell Avenue at 12:46 p.m. The police were told the suspect is a man who was wearing an Ohio State University T-shirt and black shorts.
The police at 1:31 a.m. received a complaint about an alarm that sounded “right outside” a window on Ridge Avenue. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 6:29 p.m., the police received a complaint about construction, reported to be “very loud,” on Lowell Avenue. The person who contacted the department wanted to talk to the police “about how late they are able to work,” according to logs. The police listed the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
Sprinklers were reported to have been activated for an extended period — 12 hours — on Queen Esther Drive. The police classified the case as a citizen complaint rather than a suspected criminal offense.
On Friday, Aug. 2, at 8:39 p.m., a German shepherd reportedly was seen in a car in the China Bridge garage. The pet “keeps getting stuck in the window trying to get out,” the police were told.
A party, described as loud, was reported on Daystar Circle at 10:09 p.m. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 12:20 p.m., box trucks, described as “big” were reported to be blocking a travel lane somewhere along Marsac Avenue.
On Wednesday, July 31, at 10:05 a.m., trucks that were part of a construction crew reportedly were left on a private road in Park City. The police indicated the case was civil rather than criminal in nature.
On Tuesday, July 30, at 7:37 a.m., sheep were reported to have exited a fenced area on Kearns Boulevard.
A party was reported in a Norfolk Avenue backyard at 1:17 a.m. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
On Monday, July 29, at 8:51 p.m., a person reported watching e-bikes on Lucky John Drive traveling at speeds faster than 40 mph.
A man was reported to be camping or otherwise living somewhere along or close to Richardson Flat Road.
A cement truck reportedly began to overheat on S.R. 224 at 8:49 a.m. The driver eventually was able to leave, the police said.
