Summit Sotheby’s International Realty announced it has added Chris Messick to its executive leadership team as senior vice president for builder and development services.
Messick moved to Utah in 2003 after graduating from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. His career includes leadership positions such as director of real estate and president of real estate for master-planned development brands like Spanish Peaks, Grand Roatan and Promontory Club. Most recently, he served as the president of Engel & Volkers’ Mountain Region.
“Joining Summit Sotheby’s International Realty’s leadership team is a great honor,” said Messick. “I am excited to work closely with each of our development partners, talented sales teams and world-class support staff. Our collective goals and vision are in alignment. Together, we will position each community for success, exceeding expectations and sales goals in the process.”
“Today is an exciting day at Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. We are thrilled to welcome Chris Messick to our leadership team,” said Thomas Wright, CEO and principal broker of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. “His expertise and results-driven style will strengthen our position as Utah’s leader in new construction and development sales. Chris will build upon our global brand prowess — bringing innovative services and new development strategies that will effectuate an immediate impact for each of partners across Utah.”
Messick will lead Summit Sotheby’s International Realty’s new development division, supporting over 30 new construction communities throughout Utah.
