Romy

Romy Boutique is a must-stop for those in Park City who crave distinctive, fashion-forward styles. The boutique is dedicated to showcasing garments that celebrate our community’s diverse tastes.

Since moving to Utah from Australia in 2018, owner Jacqui Lennon has made it her mission to bring top-tier designers from the United Kingdom to the heart of Park City. Her keen eye for fashion ensures that every piece in the boutique is carefully curated to offer something truly special for local clientele.

Lennon recommends chunky knit sweaters in different weights and textures and a puffer vest this fall. Bomber jackets are still on trend, as is an easy, light wool coat that you can wear with jeans. Accessorize with a cool hat or red scarf.

“I think spending money on good basics—modest, high-quality pieces—is really important,” Lennon explains. “I really like a nice base layer, close to the skin, so even when you take the layers off, you have really fine cashmere, cotton, or a natural fiber.”

Cake Boutique

Opened in the summer of 2008, Cake Boutique aimed to meet an unmet need in Park City by providing women with contemporary clothing that is modern, wearable, and not overly trendy. Cozy sweaters, soft tees, perfect boots, and premium denim are Cake’s staples.

Owned by Katie Hammond, also known as “Aunt Cake,” the boutique offers a blend of West Coast flair and casual mountain town living. Hammond is meticulous in selecting the brands that appear in the store, always ensuring they represent the best each label has to offer. Brands like Frame, Rag & Bone, Cara Cara, and AGOLDE are chosen to maintain Cake’s specific edge.

“We love a monochromic look at Cake; it is also very on-trend right now,” Hammond says. “Whether that is a matching set or something from the same color palette, if your sweater and pants are the same color, throw on a coat that is a mix-matched color.”

KÜHL

A Utah brand started in the 1980s, KÜHL is independently owned and inspired by the owner’s experiences adventuring and needing clothing and gear that could withstand the elements and had a great fit. KÜHL means ‘cool’ in German; the name was also inspired by the original pattern master, Holger Kuhr, who was born in Germany.

Today, the dedicated staff creates the best outdoor products on the market to ignite their customers’ passion for the great outdoors. Sarah Scott, brand manager for KÜHL, recommends a pair of Ryder pants that have a flannel lining, paired with the Descender flannel shirt for men; offering great warmth with no base layer needed. For layering, a wool blend makes a great base layer; the Invigoratr Merino Crew is a great option for men and comes in several colors. A fall must-have piece of outerwear for men is The One Shirt-Jac, with exposed insulation and a lightweight design.

“The staff on Main Street is extremely knowledgeable, provides an elevated experience, and they are more than happy to help people with styling,” Scott says. “We also have virtual styling that can be found on the website. People can make an appointment or call in and have someone walk them through what would work best for them.”

Show Pony Midway

One can’t help but be captivated by the impeccable quality that defines this high-end clothing consignment store. Each piece, carefully curated and presented by owner Sandra Perala-Platt reflects her unwavering commitment to quality.
Whether selecting a timeless designer dress or a sleek, contemporary jacket, each product is of superior caliber and, of course, on-trend. Show Pony is not just shopping; it is a treasure hunt offering refined touches to every wardrobe. Perala-Platt suggests sheer fabrics for layering this fall, including luxury knits, cozy sweaters, and vests. The faux fur trend is still hip, from wraps to scarves.
“People think luxury consignment is all high-end, but you can find anything in my shop, which is what I wanted to create,” Perala-Platt explains. “You can find an $18 beautiful J-Crew blouse, or you could find a Dolce & Gabbana sweater set. One of the most important things to me about my consignment business is the sustainability factor for the planet. So much clothing ends up in landfills. Shopping consignment is a great way to positively impact the planet.”
